Multi-talented Ugandan female artiste Violah Nakitende spent the nights in prison cells of Kizungu Police station after being arrested for fraud. Her manager Diggy Baur is currently on the run.
Signed onto Producer Diggy Baur's Sabuula Management, the 'Omudaali' singer and her manager have for the past months been on the run following a man hunt by a one Bonan Biral who accuses them of defrauding his boss $50000 which is equivalent to Shs185million
Biral who represents Anguisha International, alleges that Producer Baur signed an agreement during the recently trying Covid-19 times to sell off Violah Nakitende to their management but had till then not honoured the contractual terms.
Whereas Baur accuses Bilal and Anguisha International too of failure to fulfil the terms of their contract that he negotiated with them mention mention mantaining Violah Nakitende's standards of living as well as pushing her music career during the Covid times, Bauris accuses of defrauding the latter in the guise of giving up on Nakitende thereby taking home $50000.
During the previous exclusive interviews, Nakitende has always been frank while conceding to the fact that whereas she had been sold off to an new management, her contractual terms weren't honoured thereby opting to terminate it and move back to Sabuula Records.
Apart from renting her a house during the Covid-19 times, her purportedly new management couldn't do more as far as pushing her music career as per the signed contractual terms.
By Thursday evening, Bonan was not willing to negotiate for Nakitende's release unless his $50000 debt is cleared by Producer Baur.
"Baur and Viola Nakitende run into the hiding but I've finally netted Nakitende. I don't want their musician now but my money.
You contacted me and I took you to my boss at Muganzirwaza and you picked $50000 and sold Violah to us but now you are releasing more music. If Baur says he signed only shs 4m, then he will accept the rest of the balance, good enough this matter is before the civil court no wonder there's no way I can negotiate Violah Nakitende's bail unless we enter a memorandum of understanding with Baur and paid some amounts of money from the original sum that I demand," Biral said in a video.
