Thousands of revelers who had bought early bird tickets to attend Nigerian singer Micheal Adebayo alias Ruger's Munyonyo music concert have been left stranded after its cancelation by Uganda Police.

According to Afande Luke Oweyisigire, the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, the 'We Outside Edition' concert that was slated to go down on Saturday 12th at Dungu Resort Munyonyo couldn't go on after the organisers failed to meet the basic security and safety standards.

Among these were; lacking a clear traffic plan for revelers, putting in place access control measures, liaising with the territorial police and informing them about the exact number of those to attend, having an ambulance in place for a recognized hospital, putting in place measures for crowd control, and also obtaining clearance from the venue owner and local authorities.

Ruger jetted into the country on Friday 11th ahead of his concert that was set to go down at Munyonyo organised by a one Kim of EXW events.
