Famed singer Edirisa Musuuza famously known as Eddy Kenzo beat Tanzanian pop star Diamond Platnumz and Kenyan dynamic music group, Sauti Sol to claim the Best Male Artist award from East Africa in the AFRIMA Awards 2021.

This was in the climax of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMAs) 2021 edition of the Pan-African 3 day event that was concluded on Sunday.

Always selling Luganda language and Uganda to the world to prove the fact that he was indeed gifted to the Pearl of Africa by God, the award winning 'Kana ka K kambaata' couldn't disappoint once again as he brought home the prestigious award aimed at celebrating musical works, talents and creativity around the black continent while promoting African cultural heritage.

The "Weekend" singer who was caught off guard for the event while on a music tour in USA was represented by other Ugandan representatives in the AFRIMa Awards; B2C Soldiers and Spice Diana who collected the award on his behalf.
