Juliet Nalukenge Signs For Cyprus Football Club

Despite earlier reports linking the female football sensation to a Spanish side, Juliet Nalukenge has joined Cyprus side Appollon Ladies.

The former U-17 Uganda national team captain put pen to paper on a two year contract with her new bosses.

Nalukenge has been an integral figure at her former school Kawempe Moslem SS from where she joined the national U-17 team.

She was the MVP and topscorer in the East African School games in 2017 before her seven goals guided the same school to East African Games championship in Arusha Tanzania in 2019.

Nalukenge also helped Uganda win the COSAFA tournament,2029 in which her country was invited as a guest. Uganda beat South Africa 2:1 at St. Francois Xavier Stadium and She finished as a topscorer with 18 goals from five.

She was later named as the only African among the 10 best wonder kids in the world and hence won herself the NxGn award in March 2021.
