Fire has burnt down girls’ dormitory at King’s College Buddo leaving property worth millions destroyed and burnt to ashes as students were busy in preps.
Social media has been covered with photos and different video clips showing how these dormitories burnt down.
The building on fire has been identified as Grace house, in the girls wing. Thankfully, no life casualties have been reported as the girls had moved for morning preps.
The cause of the fire is yet to be known and the extent of damages.
School fires in Uganda had reduced as education management upped their antennas on safety precautions in institutions. A several years ago, fire torched a girls’dormitory at the nearby Budo Primary School where several children lost their lives in the night.
