Ugandan billionaire Sudhir Ruparelia has reportedly bought off the closed Record Television Uganda after it ended business due to bankruptcy.
The industrial area based TV station which was one of the longest serving local media house in the country closed late last month due to the COVID-19 Pandemic that had greatly affected its operations.
Blizz Uganda has learned how the popular property mogul acquired bragging rights of the TV station and will be then rebranding it to cope with the competition.
Already being not new in the media industry given the fact that he is running one of the oldest radio stations in code 256, Sanyu FM, the CEO Meera Investments is reportedly confident of reviving Record TV into a big and outstanding company in the entire region.
