Charles Muhangi was a very famous motorsport driver and he was planning to resume his rally driving as he had just ordered a 2018 model of a Subaru expected to reach in Uganda just a few days before his unfortunate death.

It should be noted that recently, Muhangi had been involved in a wrangle over commercial buildings in Kampala city, to be specific, seven commercial buildings in the city were closed leaving traders stranded when Businessmen Mansur Matovu, aka Young, and Mr Drake Lubega said they were saving their buildings from being taken over “illegally” by Muhangi, who they said had already forced them out of Qualicel Bus Terminal, Qualicel building and Nabukera Plaza.

Mr Muhangi claimed ownership of the 0.518 hectare of the land on which Qualicel Bus Terminal, Qualicel building and Nabukera Plaza. He also insisted that he legally owned the land on which the buildings sat and advised both Mr Matovu and Mr Lubega to cooperate and vacate peacefully since he had defeated them in court.

The President had met the three businessmen on November 13th at State House to try and resolve the standing dispute. We are yet to ascertain what exactly killed him after police and the doctors bring out the final postmortem report.
