Busoga United FC Unveil Seven New Signings Ahead of Return to UPL Action

The Jinja based side has been one of the busiest sides in the January transfer window and has on Wednesday 10th February,2021 unveiled seven new additions to their squad.

Writing on their official Facebook page, the club has had this to say,

"We are glad to announce the arrival of the first batch of seven new signings to strengthen our squad. The seven who include; Ekellot Ibrahim, Wagoina Isaac, Wamusi Bernard, Ssozi Shaka, Benda Byron, Kalyowa George William and Ngonde Elvis were unveiled by the Chief Executive Officer Mr. Andrew Ndyabahika ahead of our game away to Onduparaka FC on Friday".

Ngonde Elvis, is an 18 year old Busoga United Jr Team defensive midfield graduate on a 2 year Contract.

Kalyowa George William, is a 19 year old Busoga United Jr Team Left back graduate on a 2 & half years contract.

Ekellot Ibrahim, a 17 year old Defensive Midfielder & Centre Half acquired from Soltilo Bright Stars for Busoga United Jr Team and promoted to the senior team as minor player.

Wagoina Isaac, a 21 year old Forward from Iganga young on a one and a half year contract.

Wamusi Benard, a 22 year old Attacking Midfielder/Forward from Kataka FC on a one and a half year contract.

Benda Byron, a 26 year old Attacking Midfielder/Forward acquired from Edgars FC on a one and a half year contract.

Ssozi Shaka, a 27 year Forward acquired from Nyamityobora FC on a one and a half year contract.

Signing or promotion of players at the Club was inevitable after a bad start to the season that has seen them lose four and draw only one of the five matches played so and currently standing in the relegation zone.

They play their next match on Friday 12th February,2021 when they will have a trip to Arua to face Onduparaka FC.
