World record champion holder, Joshua Cheptegei has bought 10 acres of land worth a mind-blowing UGx 4billion in Namugongo after winning golden medals worth billions of shillings.

According to reports, Joshua Cheptegei bought the land recently in Mbalwa, near Numugongo and that he bought each plot at Shs50 million. He bought 80 plots (10 acres).

It’s not clear what Cheptegei is going to use the land for but we are told he has been on a land acquiring spree both in Kampala and in the Sebei region, back home.

“Yeah, Chep has been investing in land lately. He believes it’s the right investment because he still has many years of his athletics career ahead of him. He doesn’t want investments that will need his time,” a close pal told Xclusive Media.

Joshua Kiprui Cheptegei (born 12 September 1996) is a Ugandan long-distance runner. He has been in the news lately following his exploits on the track field.
