Singer Micheal Kinene famously known as part of the singing couple Doreen Mutibwa, Michael Kinene has come out and attacked his former bosses at Golden Band for being solely responsible for the collapse of one of the renowned local music groups.
As we talk of now, the Makindye based local music group, the Golden Band is no more as it broke down ever since the trek of its prominent members kick started years back from Stecia Mayanja, Doctor Hilderman, Maureen Nantume and Carol Nantongo among others.
Given the endless fights between the band directors and members that have been witnessed for long as the members accused directors of favouritism, greed and mismanagement of funds among other issues, there is no way the music group would hold its ground so firm in the highly competitive music industry.

Ever since Kinene and fiancee Doreen Mutibwa vanished and reportedly gone AWOL in London, Kinene is so perplexed that his darling music group is no more simply because of the weaknesses of the band directors mention singers Ronald Mayinja, Mesach Semakula among others.
Through his social media platforms, the "Specialist" singer has expressed his disappointment to the Golden Band Music group directors for failing to fill their void ever since they departed for greener pastures yet they left every thing in place mention enough hit songs, workers and rest of the human resource.
According to Micheal Kinene, the Golden Band directors showcased a lot of weakness to let the group collapse in just months following their departure hence demanding sounding reasons for the shocking scenario.
"Yiiiii naye banange GOLDEN BAND mwalaze nyo obutitiizi mulimba netuvaawo just emyezi ebiri joka ekibiina nekigwa nga ffe mwakitulekeranga kumpi omwaka naye nga mukisangawo kati mwagala kugamba nti ffe tubade tukute ekintu kyona????
kubanga ebyuma twabirekawo nenyimba zamwe twazirekawo nabakozi twabalekawo kati mumpe ensonga lwaki???" Lamented singer Michael Kinene through a luganda dialect.
