A massive fire has burned down two dormitories at Gayaza High School, the oldest all-girls boarding secondary school in Uganda.
The New Vision reports that two dormitories; Kennedy and Corby at Gayaza High School have caught fire. Sources say the fire started as the girls had gone for evening prep.
Efforts are underway to put it out. Police Fire Brigade is said to have already arrived at the scene. Cause not yet known. Gayaza High School is the oldest all-girls boarding secondary school covering grades 8 to 13 in Uganda.
The school is Church-founded, government-aided and accredited by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Sports.
