Proline FC breathes sigh of relief with a draw at KCCA FC, Here is why they won’t survive relegation though

Proline FC have on Tuesday 3rd march 2020 got some relief after earning a point away to defending champions KCCA FC in a match day 25 fixture played at the Star Time stadium, Lugogo. The match ended goalless after full time with KCCA missing out on an opportunity to close on Vipers lead at the summit to only one. Vipers still lead the table with a three point’s gap on 53 points with KCCA standing second on 50.

Proline however, still remains at the bottom of the table with only 22 points level with Tooro United separated by goals scored. Despite this precious point gained, Proline’s hopes for survival remain in jeopardy with their remaining five fixtures all heard nuts to crack.

Proline’s remaining five fixtures include URA FC who stand fifth on the table, Onduparaka FC, Mbarara City, Wakiso Giants and Busoga United. With all these fixtures ahead of them in their quest for staying in the league, Proline looks set for relegation come May, 2020.

In Jinja at Jinja SS Play ground, Busoga United continued their unbeaten run of the second round at home with a 1:0 win against visiting side Kyetume FC. Lawrance Tezikya scored the only match’s goal, a first half penalty that helped them displace URA FC from the fourth position. Busoga are now fourth with 42 points one point adrift of third placed SC Villa.

Action continues on Wednesday 4th March, 2020 with two fixtures as sixth placed BUL FC host eighth placed Onduparaka in Jinja and Bright Stars takes on Mbarara City,
