Kampala was on fire this past weekend as the East Side Tour Concert Headlined by Nigeria’s Mavin Records trio — Boy Spyce, Bayanni, and Magixx took over Ndere Cultural Center with a sold-out crowd, electric energy, and music that echoed across the city.
The show turned into a celebration of African rhythm, youthful flair, and shared cultural pride. From the moment gates opened at 5 PM, fans came ready to vibe, and the energy never dropped.
The Ugandan lineup was filled with performances from Ava Peace, Denesi, Vinka, and Joshua Baraka delivering local flavor and serious firepower. Kenya’s Butrous made a surprise guest appearance, sending the crowd wild with his viral smash "Angela."
Hosts Sheila Salta and Sheila Gashumba kept the crowd hyped between sets with their unmatched charisma, while DJs Tony and Rocky delivered banger after banger that had every corner of the venue bouncing.
The concert was executed to perfection, starting on time and flowing smoothly from soundchecks to the final headlining performances. The stage exploded with excitement as Bayanni, Magixx, and Boy Spyce took fans through back-to-back hits, proving why Mavin Records continues to dominate the African music scene.
The event was powered by Talent Africa Group, East Africa’s leading 360 events company, alongside a solid lineup of sponsors: Jameson Black Barrel, Mavin Records, Centric Entertainment, NRG Radio, and SafeBoda. Their combined efforts ensured world-class production, tight security, and an immersive fan experience.
“The energy from the fans was unmatched,” said Aly Allibhai, CEO of Talent Africa Group. “This event is a true testament to what we can achieve when the community comes together to celebrate art, culture, and music.”
