Ugandan music fans have something to look forward to this festive season after music icon Bebe Cool announced the release of his new single Circumference. The first release from his upcoming album dubbed Break the Chains which will be available on December 13, 2024.
During a press conference at the Next Media Park in Naguru, Bebe Cool revealed that Circumference is a collaboration with renowned Nigerian producer PhilKeyz, known for his work with Afrobeats stars like Kizz Daniel.
The song is expected to feature a fresh, energetic sound blending Afrobeats with the artist’s signature Ugandan flair. Bebe Cool expressed his passion for breaking musical boundaries, stating that the new album reflects his desire to challenge himself and elevate Ugandan music to greater heights.
Bebe Cool, a veteran of Uganda’s music scene, stressed that his latest project is born purely out of love for the craft. He dismissed speculation about proving anything, highlighting that he has nothing left to prove politically, culturally, financially, or musically. Instead, he hopes to inspire the Ugandan music industry by setting a new standard with this release.
