Zedmonk Ssabatontomi real name - (Kabuubi Akram) , was born 18th November 2003.
He is a multi international award winning artist, actor, freestyler, an humanitarian under the office of the Ambassador for Women and girls Uganda.
He is the founder of Zedmonk Cares, an Influencer with RapAdverts, he also doubles as the founder/CEO of TRT Entertainment Africa and former host Rapwithzedmonk, Brand Ambassador IMpressa Gallery Studio.
He holds the record of being East Africa's youngest male most international nominated artist, Represented Uganda in USA, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and many more.
He joined the music industry in his Senior four vacation in November 2019 at an age of 17. He released his first song titled BYOKOLA as a dedication to Andy Events Music Label & Promoter zest marking as his first breakthrough.
On the 4th June , 2020, he joined Uganda's top hip-hop show called The Street Credit Show hosted by the award winning TV personality Still Breezy and earned credits for his home town Bulenga.
He won several rap battles and marked as an addition to the first wins totaling Over 150 rap battles because he believes "Freestyle Meere Kulya" to him and crowned as the Verbalking of RapWhatISee and RapwhatISay.
On the 3rd of March 2021, He released his first single titled WORK SI MYAKA which inspired many dreamers to have self belief.
Zedmonk Ssabatontomi is still tempting to break and Set A New Guinness World Record For The Longest Rap Marathon.
On the 3rd of May 2024, the renowned Ugandan rapper, embarked on a remarkable challenge to break the Guinness world record for the longest rap marathon as he will adhere to specific rules regarding rest periods.
He is only allowed to a mere 5 minutes of rest after every hour of continous rapping or 20 minutes of rest after every four hours.
Zedmonk started his attempt to break the Guinness World Record on Friday 3rd and by Sunday 5th at 17:30 hours, he had already broken the existing record that is held by Japan’s Poney of 48 hours while rapping.
The Ugandan rapper Ssabatontomi has so far done 55 hours of the rap marathon and he is aiming at doing it 80 hours. He says he still has a lot of energy and he is ready to raise the Uganda flag higher than it has been.
