Pastor Aloysius Bugingo, the leader of the House of Prayers Ministries International, has announced plans for a grand wedding with his partner, Suzan Makula, later this year. The revelation came during a lunch service at his church in Makerere-Kikoni, where Pastor Bugingo urged his congregation to brace themselves for the impending nuptials.
"Very soon, my wedding with my wife will take place, and I urge all of you to prepare for this significant event. I want all the critics to be aware that it will happen anytime," Bugingo declared emphatically.
The announcement has sparked widespread interest and debate, particularly in light of the pastor's previous marriage to Teddy Naluswa, with whom he shares children. Bugingo's first marriage garnered considerable attention, especially on social media platforms, where he faced intense scrutiny and criticism.
However, despite the challenges and controversies surrounding his personal life, Bugingo and Makula have evidently found solace and joy in each other's companionship. Their relationship reached a milestone in 2021 with an introduction ceremony held in Kyebando, Kawempe North constituency.
The journey to this point has been marked by legal proceedings, as in 2019, Pastor Bugingo filed for divorce from his then-wife, Teddy Naluswa, at the Kajjansi Magistrate Court, seeking the dissolution of their marriage.
The forthcoming wedding promises to be a significant event not only for the couple but also for their supporters and detractors alike. As anticipation mounts, all eyes will be on Pastor Bugingo and Suzan Makula as they embark on this new chapter in their lives.
