One hit wonder, known for his hit track "Toka Kwa Balabala" singer Adam Mulwana unfortunately breathed his last in the early hours of Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Doctor’s Hospital – Seguku where he was receiving treatment from for thee past few years since his poisoning.

The heartbreaking news flooded social media platforms just after midnight on Monday, as fans and fellow artists alike expressed their sorrow. The announcement of Mulwana's passing came from an unexpected source, MP Muhammad Nsereko, who took to his social media channels to share the sad development.

"Sad news of the passing on of Adam Mulwana, a young and patriotic artist. You have indeed fought your battle and have finally gone to meet our creator. You have left a trail that the living and those to come after shall follow. Rest in Peace, brother," posted MP Nsereko, capturing the sentiment of a grieving community.

While the cause of Mulwana's untimely death remains undisclosed, it is known that he battled liver complications in recent years.

In March 2023, the artist faced a health crisis related to food poisoning, leading to hospitalization. His journey to recovery involved a successful operation in Kenya, offering a glimmer of hope to fans. However, Mulwana diligently continued medical checkups to monitor his health status.

A peculiar twist to the tale emerged when Mulwana publicly disclosed that his health woes began after a chance meeting with a fan from the USA. The mysterious encounter at a restaurant, where the fan treated him to a pizza and handed him USD 300, took a sinister turn. Mulwana later revealed that he had been poisoned, resulting in a deterioration of his health.
