Celebrated artist Ragga Dee has distanced himself from the annual Bebe Cool List, stating that the controversial compilation lacks the significance often attributed to it by the media upon release, it is something that does not make sense to him.

With a musical career spanning over two decades, Ragga Dee has gracefully transitioned into a role advocating for a functional system that ensures artists earn more from their content through Copyright Amendment requests and collaborative efforts with young talents.

Despite facing setbacks in his bid to become the Lord Mayor of Kampala through the NRM ticket, Ragga Dee continues to captivate audiences with his timeless classics performed on carefully selected stages. The artist emphasizes the imperative need for unity within the Ugandan music industry, championing mutual support over critical judgments.

In an exclusive interview with Sanyuka TV, Ragga Dee stated, "I personally don’t know anything about the Bebe Cool list, but I have heard people talk about it in the media. It looks like the list is very judgmental instead of empowering the young musicians who are joining the industry. As older musicians, we need to make the music industry better."

He urges influential figures like Bebe Cool to channel their efforts into empowering the new generation, fostering an environment where artists can thrive collectively.
