In a captivating episode of Galaxy TV's "The Deep Talk" show with Mr. Henrie, Herbert Skillz, the CEO 'The Sound Makers' Studios, a producer and singer stunned viewers with a personal revelation of how he was born and raised by nuns.

The accomplished Ugandan sound maker, popularly known as Herbert Dramuke, disclosed that he is the offspring of a church nun and a Catholic priest (father), shedding light on the unique challenges his mother faced during her unexpected pregnancy while serving in the church convent.

Skillz candidly shared the gripping tale during the interview, recounting the pivotal moment when his mother, faced with conflicting interests, had to choose between preserving her position as a nun and embracing motherhood. "When my mother learned that she was expecting a child with the father from the church, her friends feared she might lose her position there," Skillz revealed.

Against the backdrop of societal pressures and advice from friends advocating for an abortion to safeguard her career, Skillz's mother defied the odds, choosing to give birth to him and ultimately leaving the church after informing his father. "She decided to give birth to me as she left the church after informing my dad despite her friends advising to abort the pregnancy inorder to save her career as a nun," he added.

Herbert Skillz's musical journey commenced at Glory Sound Studio in Kamwokya and reached new heights when he honed his craft at Eddy Yawe’s Dream Studio. Subsequently, he moved on to Mask Studios, where he produced chart-topping songs for artists such as Arafat, Magla, Peter Miles, and more.

The skilled producer also offered a glimpse into his personal life, sharing the story of meeting Jade SoundMakers, who eventually became his wife. Together, they founded Sound Makers Studio, where Skillz produced the critically acclaimed album "Kigwa Leero" for Bobi Wine, featuring hits like “Kiggwa Leero,” “Paradiso,” “Nakumiss,” “Tomusobola,” “Ndayira” (ft. Nubian Li), and “Bad Mind” (ft. Queen Patra).
