Goodlyfe singer Weasel Manizo has sparked speculation about a possible tribute song to his late music partner Mowzey Radio after sharing a studio clip showing him working with producer Herbert Skillz.
The short video, posted on the official Radio & Weasel Instagram account on October 13, 2026, shows Weasel in the studio with Skillz, accompanied by the caption, “Have Cooked Something With @herbertskillz_”.
Although the singer has not revealed the song’s title or released the full track, the clip has already attracted attention from fans who believe the project could be connected to the loss of Mowzey Radio.
Some fans responding to the post expressed their continued grief over Radio’s death, with comments including “Our brother will never healed from radio loss” and “Some real missing… RIP.”
The reactions have fuelled speculation that Weasel could be preparing an emotional musical tribute to his former singing partner, although neither Weasel nor Herbert Skillz has officially confirmed the song’s theme.
Herbert Skillz Had Earlier Teased Studio Session
The collaboration appears to have been in the works for several weeks. In late September 2026, Herbert Skillz shared a video of the studio session on X, describing the experience as a special moment with the Goodlyfe singer.
“Studio cookup with a legend. Weasel Manizo @RadioandWeasel 😎 🔥 We just created magic. Stay tuned!” Skillz wrote.
His earlier post suggested that the pair had been working on new music, but details about the project remained under wraps.
Weasel and Mowzey Radio built a strong musical partnership under the Goodlyfe Crew, producing songs that became popular among Ugandan music fans. Radio’s death in February 2018 marked a major loss for the country’s music industry.
Since the new studio clip emerged, fans have been left wondering whether Weasel is preparing to revisit that musical bond through a tribute dedicated to his late partner.
