Singer and TikToker Mushabe Crek Haidare, popularly known as Uncle Chumi, has shocked followers after revealing the price tag for her possible conversion to Islam and ditching of eating pork.
In an interview making rounds online, the outspoken content creator said she would only consider joining the Islamic faith if the Muslim Council helped her clear half of her UGX 16 million loan.
“I can’t join Islam to suffer,” Chumi boldly said, adding that she expects support from prominent Muslims across the country including Dr. Hamis Kiggundu, Hon. Haruna Kasolo, and other influential figures who may wish to see her become one of them.
She went on to say that if the Muslims are serious about her conversion, they should “start the collection procedure” to help her out financially.
Uncle Chumi, who’s known for her wild TikTok lives, unfiltered humor, and love for pork, has since sparked massive reactions online, with some fans laughing off her remarks while others accused her of mocking religion for clout.
