Berlin-based Ugandan dancehall singer Wizzard OG has released his own list of top Ugandan musicians for 2025, disputing the one released by Bebe Cool and calling it unfair for not including Vyroota who had so many hit songs.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account, Wizzard OG made it clear that while he respects Bebe Cool, he wasn’t impressed by a list that left out Vyroota.
“I have a lot of respect for Uncle @BebeCoolUG, but I can’t take a list seriously if it doesn’t include @Vyroota_Music, He had four massive songs toward the end of the year, and they’re still trending to this day. That frustration is what pushed me to create my own list.” Wizzard wrote.
Wizzard then went ahead to unveil what he called WIZZARD OG LIST 2025, placing Vyroota firmly at the top.
According to Wizzard OG, this is his list:
- Vyroota – Tanimba, Ready, Nze Nakiliza, Kunsi
- Jose Chameleone – Bwenkagala, Zari, Museveni
- Joshua Baraka – Wrong Places
- Elijah Kitaka – Ekyange, Daily Bundle, Good Idea
- Kapeke – Kaba, Simanyi
- Ava Peace – Wanula, Omwana We Buudu, No One No Body
The list has already sparked debate online, especially with Vyroota’s number one placement being seen by many fans as long overdue recognition.
So far, Bebe Cool has not responded to Wizzard OG’s list. The Gagamel boss, who earlier released his own rankings and put himself at number one, has kept quiet as the music streets continue to argue over who really owned 2025.
