24-year-old Ugandan TikToker Timothy Kayanja, popularly known as Timo Jayden, has shared a fresh update from India as he continues the fight for life against aplastic anaemia.

He took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to update his followers after undergoing a new medical procedure.

“Good evening beautiful people, the update today I was put a blood line in my neck,” he posted, alongside a photo from the hospital.

The update, though brief, shows that Jayden has officially entered a critical stage of preparation ahead of his anticipated bone marrow transplant.

A blood line (central line) is typically inserted to allow doctors to administer medication, transfusions and other treatment more effectively especially for patients preparing for intensive procedures like a transplant.

Jayden flew to India earlier this month after months of public fundraising, support campaigns and emotional appeals. His case had touched many Ugandans, with contributions coming from fans, celebrities and even top government officials.

At one point, doctors had given him a limited prognosis without urgent intervention, making the transplant his best chance at survival.

Despite the challenges including donor matching delays and financial hurdles, the TikToker remained hopeful, constantly updating his followers and thanking them for standing with him.

Now, with treatment underway, supporters have once again flooded social media with prayers and encouragement, hoping for a successful procedure and recovery.
