It’s getting emotional and confusing at the same time, Nsambya Furniture Workshop boss Ivan Segujja has come out with teary eyes, claiming that he still loves his wife Mirembe Irene Nagawa, even after she officially confirmed their separation.
The businessman, popularly known as Nsambya Furniture, broke his silence through a TikTok video shortly after news of their breakup started making rounds online.
In the clip, Segujja sounded hopeful, insisting that whatever is happening between them is not beyond fixing.
“There is nothing that has happened between me and my wife that cannot be resolved,” he said.
He went on to dismiss some of the circulating reports, calling them “setups” and “edited,” before adding that the real truth will only come from the two of them.
Then came the part that caught everyone’s attention.
“I love you my wife, Mirembe Beddings,” he said.
Meanwhile, Mirembe Irene Nagawa, the face behind Mirembe Beddings and Curtains had already taken a different direction with a public notice dated March 17 released on March 22, she confirmed that the marriage is officially over, making it clear she won’t be entertaining media discussions about it.
“I am no longer in a marital partnership with Ivan Segujja,” she stated.
Despite the personal fallout, Mirembe moved quickly to calm clients and business partners. She assured the public that operations are still running normally, with no disruptions in orders, deliveries or customer service.
For now, it’s a situation of mixed signals.
On one side, Segujja is holding on and preaching hope. On the other, Mirembe has drawn a clear line and chosen to move on quietly.
