Kampala’s luxury social scene witnessed a spectacular new addition over the weekend as the first edition of Le Brunch de Paris officially made its grand debut at Sheraton Kampala Hotel on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
The highly anticipated Parisian-inspired lifestyle event attracted a distinguished crowd of diplomats, celebrities, business leaders, creatives, influencers, and Kampala’s premium socialites for a full day of elegance, fine dining, music, networking, and luxury entertainment.
Organized by Alliance Française Kampala in partnership with Talent Africa Group, TotalEnergies, Sheraton Kampala Hotel, SafeBoda, and Calvet, the event successfully combined French-inspired sophistication with Kampala’s vibrant entertainment culture.
Guests started arriving from 11AM dressed in elegant pastel-themed outfits as the hotel transformed into a glamorous social experience filled with bottomless champagne, curated wines, signature cocktails, gourmet dining, and high-end hospitality.
What started as a daytime brunch later evolved into an all-day celebration as attendees continued enjoying the luxurious atmosphere late into the evening.
Celebrated media personality Tracy Ikopit hosted the event, bringing charm and elegance to the experience, while renowned entertainer DJ Andy Skillz kept guests entertained with an energetic musical selection throughout the day.
Guests were also treated to a soulful live performance by The Lyshan Band, adding warmth and excitement to the premium gathering.
Several high-profile personalities were spotted at the event, including Navio, Flavia Tumusiime, celebrity couple Brian Mulondo and Manuela Mulondo, lifestyle personality Malaika Tenshi Nnyanzi, legendary rapper GNL Zamba, and business tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia among several other distinguished guests.
Diplomatic figures including H.E. Etsegenet Yimenu from the Ethiopian Embassy, Uganda’s Ambassador to France H.E. Doreen Amule, Ambassador to Brussels H.E. Mirjam Blaak, and H.E. Virginie Leroy were also in attendance.
