The rhythmic pulse of Francophonie culture is to take over Kampala, following the high-energy launch of “Bridges & Beats” press conference held at Alliance Française Kampala where organizers unveiled plans for what is being described as the premier cultural immersion event of 2026.

Scheduled for March 28, 2026, at Kingdom Kampala, the event is a collaborative masterpiece between Alliance Française Kampala and Talent Africa Group (TAG), designed to fuse Ugandan talent with global Francophone sounds.

The press conference featured a star-studded panel, including some of the headline performers who will lead the festivities. The event aims to move beyond a traditional concert, offering an “immersive lifestyle experience” that celebrates the diversity of the French-speaking world through a Ugandan lens.

Featured Artists & Performers include Elijah Kitaka who is Bringing his soulful Afro-pop fusion to the stage, Tracy Melon who is set to deliver a high-energy performance, Blac Queen and Live DJ Sets curated to blend Francophone beats with Kampala’s signature urban sound.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Loïc Boivin, the new Director of Alliance Française Kampala, noted that “Bridges & Beats” reflects the modern spirit of Francophonie—one rooted in openness and connection.

“We are proud to create a platform where Ugandan and Francophone talent can meet, collaborate, and inspire new audiences,” Boivin stated.

Aly Allibhai, CEO of Talent Africa Group, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the event’s bold vision. “Bridges & Beats is not just an event; it is a fusion of music, art, conversation, and lifestyle designed to be unforgettable for Kampala,” Allibhai told the media.
