Buddo Hill was on fire last weekend as Buddo Parents Academy held their End of colorful festival and the grand opening of their brand-new Children’s Science Digital Laboratory as students showcased their different talents through Music, Dance and Drama from different cultures.

The event, which went down yesterday from 11am to 6pm, pulled a massive crowd of students, parents, and special guests turning the school into a source of excitement, innovation, and pure celebration.

The highlight of the day was the official commissioning of the modern digital science lab by the Executive Director of Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), Hon. Nyombi Thembo, together with the school’s director Mr. Kawooya Mwebe. Hon. Nyombi made a huge mark by donating 80 solar rechargeable tablets to support digital learning for the pupils.

The Headmistress Mrs. Nakazzi Shakirah also praised the partnership with UCC, saying the lab will help pupils develop essential 21st-century tech and science skills.

Our children deserve to learn using the best tools available. This is a dream come true for Buddo Parents’ Academy,” she said proudly.

The event wasn’t just about speeches and ribbon cutting. It was also a school festival, featuring music, dance, drama, and a cultural exhibition that had everyone on their feet. The vibe was unmatched as top game players and performers joined in the celebrations, making it one of the most lively school events of the year.

Guests were also treated to a tour of the new and improved nursery section, which now boasts fresh classrooms and a more modern learning environment for the youngest learners.
