TV presenter Momo19, wife to singer Daxx Kartel, has dismissed rumours of infidelity, insisting that she has never cheated on her husband and would not engage in an affair.
Responding to the allegations, Momo19 argued that any involvement with another man would likely have become public knowledge, given how quickly such claims spread.
She also addressed rumours that another man bought her a car, insisting that the vehicle is registered in her names and challenging those making the claims to identify the alleged buyer.
“I need you to come out and mention at least one man you’ve ever heard saying that they bought me a car,” she said.
Momo19 explained that her ability to afford personal belongings comes from her work with various organisations, where she earned money through professional engagements.
She revealed that one organisation she worked for paid her a daily allowance of UGX 100,000, in addition to covering accommodation and meals and paying her salary.
“How then do you think I wouldn’t be in a position to buy myself a car?” she questioned.
The presenter also described cheating on her husband as one of her greatest fears while growing up, saying she would find it difficult to justify such an act, especially if it resulted in public embarrassment for Daxx Kartel.
“How would I explain to the public? Would I ask for forgiveness from each and every one for embarrassing my husband?” she asked.
Momo19 further highlighted the transparency she says defines their marriage, explaining that Daxx Kartel knows whenever she travels or goes somewhere for work.
She added that her husband reads her emails and has met some of her work colleagues, which she presented as part of the openness in their relationship.
Her remarks come as she pushes back against speculation about her faithfulness and questions surrounding how she acquired her car.
