The search for Miss Uganda 2026 has entered a new stage after 22 finalists were officially unveiled during a glamorous Presentation Night held at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel on Friday evening.
The event, which was broadcast live on StarTimes Makula KiKa, brought the finalists into the public spotlight as they begin the next phase of a competition marking 15 years of Miss Uganda.
The 2026 pageant began on July 26, 2026, with the search travelling across Uganda’s regions to identify young women representing the country’s beauty, talent, confidence and aspirations.
Reflecting on the pageant’s 15-year journey, Miss Uganda Foundation CEO Brenda Nanyonjo said the competition’s impact extends beyond the crown.
“When I look at what Miss Uganda has achieved over the last 15 years, I don’t just see crowns and titles—I see lives transformed, dreams realized, and young women empowered to become leaders in their communities and beyond.”
The 22 finalists emerged from the regional search, bringing together contestants from different parts of Uganda and showcasing the country’s diversity in beauty, culture and talent.

The Presentation Night attracted celebrities, women in sport, government dignitaries, industry leaders, sponsors, partners and members of the public. Guests also experienced activations from brands including Vaseline and 7 Days, while V&A Sherry hosted a special toast celebrating 15 years of Miss Uganda.
Oppein Home also created a luxury lounge as part of the evening’s brand experiences.
According to Klaire Komakech, Director of Business Development, the event combined entertainment with interactive experiences for guests and participating brands.
The entertainment lineup featured performances from Abeeka Band and Ugandan singer Spice Diana, while the 22 finalists took to the stage for their official introduction.
The 2026 Miss Uganda search is lead-sponsored by Oppein Home, with V&A Sherry, Vaseline, CHINT, Uhome, Evervess and 7 Days International supporting the competition as partner sponsors.
StarTimes also brought the event to viewers across the country through a live broadcast on Makula KiKa, beginning at 6:00 PM.
Kenneth Kazooba, Vice President at StarTimes, congratulated the Miss Uganda Foundation on reaching its 15-year milestone and welcomed the move to bring the pageant to television audiences through a reality-show format.
With the 22 finalists now introduced, attention shifts to the boot camp and subsequent stages of the competition. The journey is scheduled to culminate in the Miss Uganda 2026 Grand Finale on October 10, 2026, when the next Miss Uganda will be crowned.
