Dancehall musician Karole Kasita has left social media in wonder after revealing an unusual breakup experience with a former lover who gifted her with a brand new car, a furnished apartment and alot of cash on her account.
During a one-on-one interview with a local YouTuber, the Chekecha singer narrated how her ex abruptly ended their relationship but followed it up with surprising gestures.
“He woke up one day and told me we were done. Then he told me to go to the parking lot and choose any car I wanted,” Kasita said.
She added that he also offered her the choice of returning to her mother’s home or selecting an apartment, which he would help furnish and even share the cost of. According to Kasita, he deposited money into her account to make the transition smoother.
Kasita explained that these gestures helped conceal her heartbreak from those around her. “That’s why people never knew I was going through a breakup. I honestly don’t know why he did all that, and I probably will never know,” she said.
The revelation sparked mixed reactions online. Some called the breakup gesture “rare and thoughtful,” while others questioned the ex’s motives.
