Masaka city tycoon and Kampala businessman Lwasa Emmanuel has today officially converted to Islam at Kibuli Mosque, taking on the name “Akram.” From now on, he’s known as Lwasa Akram.


This guy has always been in the headlines — famously linked to several women, including musicians and TV presenters. But today, things have changed.

Lwasa says he’s on a new path, wanting to purify his heart and start fresh. He even dreams of going for Hajji in Mecca, but his loans and debts are holding him back for now.

One thing’s clear — Lwasa Akram is serious about turning a new leaf, and he’s started that journey today.
