Ugandan socialite Bryan White, real name Bryan Kirumira, is continuing treatment for serious burn injuries at Medipal International Hospital in Kampala, with recent updates indicating steady progress in his recovery.
In an emotional update shared around November 2, 2026, Bryan was seen in a hospital bed wearing a Medipal patient gown as he continued receiving medical care.
His recovery follows a fire at his home in Kyamula, Makindye, on October 22, 2025, in which he sustained severe burns. The incident also claimed the life of 25-year-old Caroline Nalubwama.
Bryan spent 293 days on remand before being granted mandatory bail in early September 2026, allowing him to seek private medical treatment. He had spent months bedridden and undergone treatment that reportedly included skin grafting.
In late October, he reunited with members of his family, including his wife and young daughter, while still receiving hospital care. He expressed gratitude to God for giving him a second chance at life and highlighted the importance of family.
Meanwhile, the criminal charges arising from the 2025 fire remain separate from his medical recovery and are still ongoing.
