Musician Tracy Melon has revealed how serious health complications forced her to withdraw from the public eye for much of this year, saying she deliberately kept her struggles private because discussing them remains emotional.
Speaking to Galaxy TV, Tracy said she went through some of the most difficult months of her life but is grateful that her condition has improved and that she is now recovering.
“I had quite difficult couple of months but I’m glad I feel better now,” she said.
Tracy explained that her health challenges were behind her prolonged silence and absence from the public, adding that talking about what she went through can still bring her to tears.
Reflecting on the experience, she encouraged people to show more kindness to others, noting that appearances do not always reveal what someone may be experiencing privately.
“When you see people walking on the streets, be kind because when they go back to their rooms, everyone is battling with something,” Tracy said.

She also cautioned against judging people based on what they post on social media, saying online platforms often show only the moments people choose to share.
According to Tracy, someone may appear perfectly healthy in a photograph or video while privately dealing with a serious situation. She said a person could post normally after spending the previous night fighting for their life and wondering whether they would make it to the next day.
Tracy also spoke about her significant weight loss, revealing that she has lost about 13 kilograms during her health struggles.
She urged people to be more considerate when they notice someone has lost weight, explaining that her own weight loss was not something she deliberately pursued.
“It’s not because I wanted, but because of being in and out of hospital constantly,” she said.
Tracy expressed gratitude to God for helping her through the difficult period and said she is now feeling much better and continuing with her recovery.
Her revelations have also highlighted the gap between what people see publicly and the private challenges individuals may be facing away from social media and public attention.
