Crested Crane Hotel in Jinja was the centre of attention for seven straight hours as boxers from Jinja took on fighters from Kampala in a thrilling contest for the top prize.
The one-day boxing event was part of a monthly city-versus-city series sponsored by ForteBet, with the initiative aimed at identifying and developing promising boxing talent that might otherwise remain undiscovered.
Both male and female boxers stepped into the ring, producing a series of competitive and action-packed bouts that kept the event lively throughout the day.
Speaking during the event, Muhangi said ForteBet remains committed to initiatives that help improve people’s lives and create opportunities for young talent.
“As ForteBet, we are always looking towards improving people. We decided to partner with Inter Cities Fight Night to promote Uganda’s boxing young talents to gold medalists at the international scene,” Muhangi said.
Alongside the medals presented by Inter-Cities Fight Night, ForteBet also recognised the standout fighters with brand-new phones and T-shirts as additional rewards for their performances.
