The Chief Executive Officer of the Uganda Premier League (UPL) Bernard Bainamani yesterday released the statistics of the season 2018/2019
In the press meeting held at Nelson Mandela national stadium-Namboole, the CEO also hinted at Match fixing and poor playing facilities as major challenges affecting the game that should be addressed.
According to Bainamani, the league fixtures for the next season will be released by end of July and the league is expected to get underway in the first week of September.
KCCA FC were the champions of the 2018-19 season with a total of 66 points. Nyamityobora FC, Ndejje University FC and Paidha Black Angels were relegated.
