Former Buwekula FC attacking midfielder and captain Nvule Jamil Kisitu has signed for Arua based Onduparaka FC.
Jamil signed a three year contract with the caterpillars who finished sixth in Star times Uganda Premier League table last season on 45 points, 21 behind Champions KCCA.
Kisitu played for Buwekula FC in Masaza cup in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 before a stint with Ssingo.
In 2015, he helped Buwekula reach quarter finals where they lost 6:5 to Buddu in post match penalties after a 2:2 aggregate draw with both legs ending 1:1.
In 2016, he helped Buwekula win the Luwangula cup beating Ssingo 1:0. He was also named the most valuable player of the tournament.
In 2017, he played masaza cup for Ssingo, helping them reach the finals where they lost 1:0 to Gomba but helped them beat Buwekula 2:0 to win the Matikira cup.
In 2018, he returned to Buwekula, helping them finish fourth in Masaza cup, their second best performance in the tournament after being runners up in 2012 losing to Bulemeezi.
After masaza tournament in 2018, he joined big league outfits Kiboga young FC before signing for Onduparaka.
He’ll don jersey 16 and now joins new recruits like Atendere Geriga (shirt 19) from Koboko rising stars, Bhetto Bashir (shirt 44) from koboko rising stars, and Joel Jengayange from Nebbi central.
Onduparaka are in action today 16th August, 2019 against KCCA FC in the semi finals of Pilsner super 8 in the replica of last year’s final and inaugural tournament. KCCA won it 2:0 courtesy of goals from Allan Okello and Saddam Ibrahim Juma.
Onduparaka kick start their 2019/2020 Star times Uganda Premier league campaign with an encounter against Police FC at Luzira Prisons ground at 4Pm.
