Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan has opened up about her recent miscarriage from two months ago, putting to rest ongoing rumors and public pressure regarding her family planning with husband Shakib Cham Lutaaya.
Taking to her Snapchat, Zari shared a raw message where she confirmed that she lost her pregnancy in May 2025, just weeks after discovering she was expecting.
Addressing fans and critics alike, she made it clear that the pressure surrounding her to have a child was unwarranted and that she did not owe anyone an explanation about her personal life.
“I don’t owe any of you a child… let’s make it VERY CLEAR!!!! Matter of fact, I have zero pressure. This is me after a 6-week miscarriage. If I get it, I get it. If I don’t, f*** it. I don’t owe any f***ing body!!! Rest I beg! I have 5, he has 2, we good!” Zari shared on her Snapchat.
Zari’s revelation follows months of speculation about her relationship with Shakib, with many questioning whether the couple would have a child together. Despite the loss, Zari’s message of peace and acceptance of her circumstances has resonated with many, as she continues to focus on her family and personal life.
