Minister Phiona Nyamutoro, the State Minister for Minerals has officially declared her bid to run for Nebbi District Woman MP in the upcoming elections\u2014and made the announcement on Mother\u2019s Day.<\/em><\/p>\n

Taking to her social media, Nyamutoro dropped a campaign poster alongside a heartfelt message:<\/p>\n

\u201cNebbi has mothered many great and significant citizens for our Nation and now it\u2019s time for Her to Shine. Happy Mother\u2019s Day.\u201d<\/em> Whew! A soft serve with a strong punch.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She\u2019s coming under the NRM ticket and is gearing up to face the current Woman MP Agnes Acibu\u2014also NRM\u2014which means things are about to get interesting in the ruling party.<\/p>\n

And of course, her relationship with BET award-winning singer Eddy Kenzo has the public extra tuned in. With entertainment big shots already rallying behind her, Phiona\u2019s political path is lighting up with love and ambition.<\/p>\n
