There\u2019s always that one fan who stands out\u2014and for songstress Spice Diana, it\u2019s the 15-year-old Kalyango Umar. If you\u2019ve been following her charity campaigns, then you\u2019ve definitely seen or heard about this young boy everyone refers to as her Husband.<\/em><\/p>\n

Who is Kalyango Umar?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kalyango isn\u2019t just any child at the Dina Special Children Foundation<\/strong><\/a>\u2014he was the first<\/em> child ever welcomed at the home back when it was still located in Kiwatule, a township within the city of Kampala.<\/p>\n

Spice Diana first met Kalyango in 2021, and since then, the two have shared a bond that can only be described as beautiful.<\/p>\n

At the time, little Kalyango was full of energy despite his struggles with walking and speech. To Spice Diana’s suprise, he already knew most of her songs! Yes, even with difficulty expressing himself, he\u2019d light up at the sound of her voice and would hum or sing along. Spice says every visit ended with him joyfully bragging about her presence\u2014even joking that she was his girlfriend.<\/p>\n

“I first met Kalyango back in 2021, he was the first child we ever brought at the Foundation and to my surprise, he was a huge fan of mine. He could sing some of my songs and would light up with joy every time we met.When I left he could tell everyone he’s my husband”<\/em>– Spice Diana said.<\/p>\n

It didn\u2019t stop there. When the foundation relocated to Mpigi, Kalyango moved with it, and so did the connection. Up to now, every time Spice Diana shows up, it\u2019s as if the world stops just for the two of them. The way they laugh, hug, and enjoy each other’s company is enough to melt even the coldest heart.<\/p>\n

Honestly, if you ever hear anyone call Kalyango \u201cSpice Diana\u2019s husband,\u201d<\/em> don\u2019t be surprised\u2014it\u2019s a running joke at the foundation, and even Spice herself plays along with it sometimes. It\u2019s not about fame or fanfare\u2014it\u2019s about a deep, emotional bond between a star and a young soul who sees her as so much more than just a singer.<\/p>\n
