Ugandan-born singer and songwriter YangJ Sound is back with a brand-new release that\u2019s already tugging on heartstrings\u00a0 called “Far Away,” dropped this week and is quickly becoming a love anthem for many in long-distance relationships.<\/em><\/p>\n

Real name Samuel Naminya Egesa, YangJ hails from Kampala but is currently based in Sweden, where he’s been steadily making a name in the international Afrobeat and R&B scene.<\/p>\n

Blending Afrobeat, Afro Zouk, Dancehall, and R&B pop, YangJ\u2019s style is fresh, emotional, and full of depth\u2014and “Far Away” is no exception. The new single paints a touching picture of love strained by distance, with YangJ singing about a beautiful woman he cherishes but can\u2019t be with. The emotional honesty and soothing rhythm make the track both catchy and deeply relatable.<\/p>\n
