Uganda has been pushed into mourning following the tragic death of Rajiv Ruparelia<\/strong>, Managing Director of the Ruparelia Group<\/strong> and son to renowned business magnate Sudhir Ruparelia<\/strong> in a gruesome car accident.<\/em><\/p>\n

The 35-year-old Rajiv died in the early hours of Saturday morning in a gruesome car crash<\/strong> near the Busabala Flyover<\/strong> in Makindye-Ssabagabo, Wakiso District<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to a police statement issued by Deputy Spokesperson Luke Oweyesigyire<\/strong>, the accident occurred at 1:54 a.m.<\/strong> on May 3, 2025. Rajiv was reportedly driving a white Nissan GTR (UAT 638L)<\/strong> from Kajjansi toward Munyonyo<\/strong> when he lost control and crashed into temporary road barriers<\/strong> at a roundabout on the flyover.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe vehicle overturned and caught fire upon impact,\u201d Oweyesigyire said. \u201cWe have been informed that the driver was Rajiv Ruparelia<\/strong>, and he sadly died at the scene. Investigations are ongoing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
