<\/p>\nUgandan coffee brand La’ Marc Coffee made a strong impression at the Second Annual CropLife Uganda Seeds, Crop Protection and Fertilizer Symposium 2026 after participating in the regional agricultural event for the very first time.<\/p>\n
The symposium brought together major stakeholders in agriculture, crop protection, fertilizer management, food safety, and sustainable farming from across Uganda and beyond, creating a platform for dialogue, networking, and innovation within the agricultural sector.<\/p>\n
During the event, CropLife Uganda reaffirmed its commitment to promoting sustainable agriculture, responsible stewardship, food safety, and collaboration with regulators and development partners to strengthen food security across the region.<\/p>\n
For La\u2019 Marc Coffee, the symposium provided an important opportunity to expand its visibility, connect with industry players, and showcase Uganda\u2019s growing coffee excellence.<\/p>\n

Speaking during the event, Geofrey Kinaalwa Ssemakula, Managing Director of La\u2019 Marc Coffee, described the symposium as a valuable networking and growth platform for the company.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur participation in this symposium has opened doors to a wider network spectrum and enabled us to connect with stakeholders from different countries,<\/em>\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are honored to have had the opportunity to serve our coffee to delegates attending the symposium while also creating awareness about our products and brand,\u201d<\/em> he added.<\/p>\n Ssemakula further emphasized the importance of collaboration across the agricultural value chain, noting that partnerships with different stakeholders help strengthen sustainable production, market access, and awareness for Ugandan coffee products.<\/p>\n La\u2019 Marc Coffee also used the event to engage directly with farmers and agricultural experts, particularly on discussions surrounding fertilizers and sustainable farming practices.<\/p>\n According to Flavia Nakitende, Operations and Marketing Manager at La\u2019 Marc Coffee, the symposium created an opportunity for the company to learn and interact with farmers and professionals in the agriculture sector.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have been able to connect with different kinds of farmers who are guiding us on fertilizers and sustainable farming practices, What makes La\u2019 Marc different is that we embrace the entire coffee value chain right from the mother garden to the cup\u201d<\/em> she explained.<\/p>\n La\u2019 Marc Coffee distinguishes itself by cultivating its own Robusta coffee, processing and packaging locally while maintaining quality control throughout every stage of production.<\/p>\n Beyond coffee business, the company also continues supporting vulnerable communities through corporate social responsibility initiatives focused on empowering teenage mothers.<\/p>\n Through the La\u2019 Marc initiative, teenage mothers receive vocational training opportunities in barista skills, hair dressing, and farming to help them build sustainable livelihoods and regain economic independence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Ugandan coffee brand La’ Marc Coffee made a strong impression at the Second Annual CropLife Uganda Seeds, Crop Protection and Fertilizer Symposium 2026 after participating in the regional agricultural event for the very first time.
