If there were any doubts about live bands pulling crowds, Abeeka Band<\/span><\/span> just ended that debate with their most anticipated debut concert at Ndere Cultural Centre<\/span><\/span>, organised by Talent Africa Group<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

From as early as midday, the hype was already building. Social media was on fire, and traffic along the Ndere\u2013Kisaasi stretch started locking up hours before gates even filled. By 9PM, the venue was completely packed no space, no breathing room, just pure energy as Abeeka hit the stage.<\/p>\n

The band delivered a non-stop, high-energy performance<\/strong>, blending reggae anthems from Morgan Heritage<\/span><\/span> and Chronixx<\/span><\/span> with their signature live band flair. But the moment that really shook the crowd? A powerful tribute to Mowzey Radio<\/span><\/span>, performing Lwaki Onumya, <\/em>and the entire audience sang it word for word.<\/p>\n

For a band that started just five years ago playing for small, intimate crowds, this was a full-circle moment<\/strong>. Years of grinding through Kampala\u2019s nightlife scene have clearly paid off, with a loyal fanbase now strong enough to fill major venues.<\/p>\n

Even sponsors felt the weight of the moment. A representative from Tusker Malt Lager<\/span><\/span> described the night as a major win for authentic Ugandan music<\/strong>, praising Abeeka\u2019s consistency and craft.<\/p>\n

The event also turned into a mini-industry meetup, with several artists pulling up to show love a sign that Abeeka isn\u2019t just building a fanbase, but respect across the board.<\/p>\n
