The rhythmic pulse of Francophonie culture is to take over Kampala, following the high-energy launch of “Bridges & Beats” press conference held at Alliance Fran\u00e7aise Kampala where organizers unveiled plans for what is being described as the premier cultural immersion event of 2026.<\/p>\n

Scheduled for March 28, 2026, at Kingdom Kampala, the event is a collaborative masterpiece between Alliance Fran\u00e7aise Kampala and Talent Africa Group (TAG), designed to fuse Ugandan talent with global Francophone sounds.<\/p>\n

The press conference featured a star-studded panel, including some of the headline performers who will lead the festivities. The event aims to move beyond a traditional concert, offering an “immersive lifestyle experience” that celebrates the diversity of the French-speaking world through a Ugandan lens.<\/p>\n

Featured Artists & Performers include Elijah Kitaka who is Bringing his soulful Afro-pop fusion to the stage, Tracy Melon who is set to deliver a high-energy performance, Blac Queen and Live DJ Sets curated to blend Francophone beats with Kampala\u2019s signature urban sound.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Lo\u00efc Boivin, the new Director of Alliance Fran\u00e7aise Kampala, noted that “Bridges & Beats” reflects the modern spirit of Francophonie\u2014one rooted in openness and connection.<\/p>\n

“We are proud to create a platform where Ugandan and Francophone talent can meet, collaborate, and inspire new audiences,”<\/i> Boivin stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Aly Allibhai, CEO of Talent Africa Group, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the event\u2019s bold vision. “Bridges & Beats is not just an event; it is a fusion of music, art, conversation, and lifestyle designed to be unforgettable for Kampala,”<\/i> Allibhai told the media.<\/p>\n

The 2026 edition has garnered significant institutional backing, reflecting the event’s scale. Partners include: The Embassy of France and other French-speaking diplomatic missions, TotalEnergies, NBS Television and Capital FM<\/p>\n
