The National Unity Platform (NUP) has made significant inroads in the Buganda region after securing 41 parliamentary seats<\/strong>, even as the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) emerged with 55 seats<\/strong>, cementing its dominance in the region.<\/p>\n

The results underline Buganda\u2019s continued role as a major political battleground, with NUP maintaining strong support in urban centers, municipalities, and several rural constituencies, while NRM retained control of key areas.<\/p>\n
