Have you ever driven a car like mine?\u201d the officer was heard saying before slapping the lady again.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"953\" data-end=\"1082\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4349\" src=\"https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/G3Iy4ZGWYAAr5bj.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1075\" height=\"1185\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/G3Iy4ZGWYAAr5bj.jpg 1075w, https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/G3Iy4ZGWYAAr5bj-272x300.jpg 272w, https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/G3Iy4ZGWYAAr5bj-929x1024.jpg 929w, https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/G3Iy4ZGWYAAr5bj-768x847.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/G3Iy4ZGWYAAr5bj-381x420.jpg 381w, https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/G3Iy4ZGWYAAr5bj-640x705.jpg 640w, https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/G3Iy4ZGWYAAr5bj-681x751.jpg 681w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1075px) 100vw, 1075px\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1212\">The disturbing footage caused public outrage, forcing police to arrest and detain Nsiima before he was brought to court today.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1214\" data-end=\"1410\">He has been charged with two counts \u2014 <em data-start=\"1256\" data-end=\"1296\">assault occasioning actual bodily harm<\/em> and <em data-start=\"1301\" data-end=\"1319\">malicious damage<\/em> \u2014 after allegedly damaging the victim\u2019s Infinix Hot 10 phone during the altercation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1588\">Nsiima pleaded not guilty, claiming he has since reconciled with the complainant, Pellan Atuhumuriize, who was present in court but remained silent on the matter.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1590\" data-end=\"1849\">His lawyer, Hamuza Kyamanywa, applied for bail, presenting three sureties \u2014 including an ISO employee and his brother \u2014 but the State Prosecutor, Mercy Yamangusho, strongly objected, saying the accused acted with \u201cimpunity of the highest order.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1851\" data-end=\"2007\">\n<p data-start=\"1853\" data-end=\"2007\">\u201cAs a police officer, he was expected to protect women, not assault them.
