Singer Victor Ruz has come out in defense of Bebe Cool and his new album Break The Chains, telling critics to pipe down and actually look at the bigger picture for the industry as it’s a step everyone should follow.<\/em><\/h6>\n

In a passionate social media post, Ruz said people hating on Bebe Cool\u2019s rollout plan are clearly not the target audience and are simply \u201cyapping.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBig Size is doing the right thing with BREAK THE CHAINS ALBUM and it\u2019s only people who are not the target market yapping. The steps he is taking are the steps we all wish to take in case we had the same vision as his,\u201d<\/em> Ruz wrote.<\/h6>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The \u201cOlimba\u201d crooner believes Bebe Cool\u2019s album push might not immediately benefit him \u2014 but it\u2019s planting seeds for future generations.<\/p>\n

He then reminded everyone that no strategy is perfect and flaws can be corrected as you go, but that\u2019s no excuse for \u201chating fwaaaa.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The comments come just as Bebe Cool kicks off his international album tour, starting with London, the global Afrobeats hub. Break The Chains<\/em>, which dropped last month, features bangers like “Cheque” with Joshua Baraka and the DJ Edu-produced track “Games.”<\/p>\n

DJ Edu, a big name in the UK Afrobeats scene and host on BBC 1Xtra, has already remixed “Cheque” and premiered it on his show. Bebe Cool is also working closely with Adesope, one of the top Afrobeat media personalities, for his UK media rounds. The two previously teamed up during the Kampala listening party.<\/p>\n

Bebe Cool’s London tour is just the first stop in a wider global rollout, with Europe and the USA also on the schedule. From radio appearances to podcast interviews and influencer meetups, Big Size is clearly pushing Ugandan music into the global conversation.<\/p>\n
