He has a deep story to tell.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Grenade was detained on <strong>Sunday, June 15, 2025<\/strong>, after allegedly violating Chinese immigration laws by performing at events while on a tourist visa \u2014 a serious offense in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The news of his arrest broke after his management issued a statement confirming the incident, explaining that Grenade had traveled to China on a tourist visa but went ahead to perform at a show without securing the required work permit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking out on the matter, his manager <strong>Joram Mukisa<\/strong> admitted that the team had underestimated the strictness of Chinese immigration policies regarding foreign entertainers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"686\" height=\"872\" src=\"https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Screenshot_1-2.png\" alt=\"Grenade Official\" class=\"wp-image-1789\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Screenshot_1-2.png 686w, https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Screenshot_1-2-236x300.png 236w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 686px) 100vw, 686px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Grenade Official<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Fortunately, after spending a night in detention, <strong>Grenade was released on Monday, June 16<\/strong>, much to the relief of his fans and loved ones. Taking to his social media, the singer expressed his gratitude, writing simply: <em>\u201cGod is good.
