I\u2019m his Favorite Wife\u201d- Princess Amirah"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Band singer Princess Amira has finally opened up about her relationship with State Minister for Microfinance, Haruna Kasolo, she has confirmed that she\u2019s now officially a Muslim and has changed her name to Amira Kasolo, out of love and respect for her husband.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201c<em>I took the Shahada and received a new name; currently, I am Amira Kasolo. I am his favorite wife, and I honor him every day,\u201d<\/em> she said proudly, adding that their Nikah (Islamic wedding) already happened quietly.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>She revealed that their ceremony was low-key and private\u2014deliberately kept away from the public eye because, as she put it, <em>\u201cIt didn\u2019t matter to the public.\u201d<\/em> What does matter to her, though, is loving her man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amira said she even shut down her restaurant business just to focus fully on her marriage and now rarely performs in town. \u201c<em>I am personally focused on that at the moment: loving my husband and more along those lines,\u201d<\/em> she shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"888\" height=\"888\" src=\"https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Princess-Amirah.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1596\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Princess-Amirah.png 888w, https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Princess-Amirah-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Princess-Amirah-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Princess-Amirah-768x768.png 768w, https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Princess-Amirah-600x600.png 600w, https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Princess-Amirah-100x100.png 100w, https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Princess-Amirah-24x24.png 24w, https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Princess-Amirah-48x48.png 48w, https:\/\/blizz.co.ug\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Princess-Amirah-96x96.png 96w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 888px) 100vw, 888px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>But while she\u2019s confidently calling herself the Minister\u2019s favorite, his public wife Aisha Kasolo doesn\u2019t seem to agree. The two have had ongoing tension, and earlier this year Aisha made it clear she doesn\u2019t recognize Amira as one of Kasolo\u2019s wives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cI don\u2019t know Princess Amira. I know all his wives, and they are even registered in the marriage registry.
