Veteran radio presenter Lady Titie Tabel has opened up about the dark moment in her career that still haunts her to this day. She used to promote witchdoctors but once her daughter’s sumbie closed and they failed to help her.<\/em><\/p>\n

In a recent interview, Titie, real name Tendo Tabel, revealed that during her time at Beat FM, where she pioneered the popular Ebbaluwa<\/em> program, she unknowingly opened doors to spiritual manipulation \u2014 all for money.<\/p>\n

The Ebbaluwa<\/em> show, which was known for reading emotional letters from listeners and letting others call in with advice, quickly gained popularity. But according to Lady Titie, things took a turn when witchdoctors started sending letters and paying her UGX 1 million just to have their names mentioned on air.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey used to send letters like normal listeners. I didn\u2019t even realise it at first\u2026 Then they started paying me\u20141 million shillings per letter. I would read them live, mention their names and locations. It became a business,\u201d she confessed.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She said this shady arrangement continued for years without even her radio bosses noticing. But her turning point came when her eldest daughter fell seriously ill, suddenly her sumbie closed and she couldn’t open it, and none of the witchdoctors she had helped could do anything about it.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cI cried day and night. I begged some of them to help me but nothing worked. That\u2019s when I carried my baby to Mutundwe Fellowship Church led by Pastor Tom, and she was healed there,\u201d she recalled emotionally.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Now a born-again Christian, Lady Titie says she lives with deep regret, and hopes her testimony will help others avoid similar paths.<\/p>\n
